The First Months of 2012

It's been great to have a closer to normal winter for here in Labrador... meaning a lot of snow.   The last few months we've been able to enjoy a variety of winter activities and Idonea has begun to really enjoy the snow too.   March is a month of celebrations for our family, including our Anniversary and Birthdays for both Idonea and Jen.  Idonea really enjoyed having a small gathering of friends over to celebrate her 2 year milestone and it was especially exciting to have her Saner Grandparents visiting us here in Labrador to celebrate with us.  Idonea is getting more talkative and active everyday and even helps with the occasional project in the office. Kerry was privileged to be able to join Elizabeth and Francis Penashue for the 2nd half of their spring snowshoe walk into the Mealy Mountains.  Being able to appreciate this pristine landscape and the profound winter silence was an unforgettable experience. Being caught in a blizzard during the snowmobile ride home was also a highlight!   We enjoyed a fun Easter weekend also and we hope that each of you have had an exciting and eventful beginning of spring!
